Well, today has been an exciting one...

Young Farmer William and the Farmers' Guardian have teamed up with me to run a competition to win one of my drum seats or a clock of their choice.

I had to go out decorating, but while I was out, the competition was all go! Lots of interest and kind comments from a few hundred people. I have also had a few orders and am looking forward to getting stuck in making new seats over the coming weeks. Thanks to the Farmers' Guardian, Young Farmer William and his lovely mummy, Helen, who have pulled out all the stops to make today very exciting and good fun. It was lovely to get in from work to see all the likes and comments. I am looking forward to making the winning seat or clock once the competition is over.

I wonder what is going to happen next in the world of drum seats and clock. Watch this space...
